Sector Associations


Many youth travel specialists join one or more of the WYSE Travel Confederation sector associations to take advantage of niche-specific expertise and trading opportunities. These eight sector associations occupy a central position within the Confederation and provide a range of valuable services and products to the industry such as student identity cards (ISIC) and student flights (SATA).

International Student Travel Confederation (ISTC)

International Au Pair Association
IAPA is a global trade association for organisations engaged in sending and/or receiving au pairs and for organisations offering services to au pair and cultural exchange programmes. IAPA works to protect the rights of au pairs and host families by setting internationally-approved au pair programme guidelines.

Student Air Travel Association
SATA is a forum through which the world’s leading student and youth travel organisations establish agreements with airlines to provide affordable and flexible air travel for young people. SATA tickets are accepted by more than 90 airlines. SATA also provides information on industry standards and regulations, and liaises with airlines and aviation authorities.
